Do you have any tips on how to spruce up the storage space while looking for new diggs? I miss my desk, my chair, my funky old leather couch…..my bookshelves, books, oh all of it! I have started making excuses to go to the storage space, where I just sit and gaze at my belongings.

However, I have found that, the storage space does not compliment my decor, and even with the couch on it’s side, and all of the chairs piled on top of one another, I cannot seem to overcome the cement floor and metal corrugated walls. This look is distracting, and it is spoiling my “me time”.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Husband forgets lunch due to floating around in an uplifted state perhaps?

Once the blood sugar plummets, he will be back, and you will be floating on the uplifting ham sandwich cloud.

Hmmm - you may have to use your sandwich cloud powers to dive down and drag him onto the couch.

Hopefully, a small piece of sandwich will fly out of your throat during your dive and the Hungry Universe will catch it.

And another perfect day will have ended. Sad to have a perfect day end, but there are SO MANY MORE to come!

I do not know about you two, but we over here are simply dizzy with excitement.

Hello, Universe here.
I am so sorry you have been misled by all of this uplifting nonsense, because the truth is, I do nothing. For anyone, at anytime, anywhere.

I sit and gaze, because a long time ago I used to be called God, but I was laid off, also.

But gosh, Tara, you sure could help me help you if I could have a bite of your sandwich. Just toss it up anywhere. I’ll find it.

I’ve been reading a book called “Simple Prosperity” which is kind of about the green movement and sustainable lifestyles, and it has some interesting info which are good to shift the perspective when anxiety starts to set in about “what’s to become of us” in light of the current economy, etc.
Check out http://www.globalrichlist.com- kind of makes you realize that no matter how scary and insecure we might feel when we lose income, benefits, etc., we’re still way richer than 90 percent or more of the people on the planet!
All the same, it sounds like you’ve really been going through it - I’m glad the extraction went smoothly -
and you looked great on Skype - has the postehaste team considered creating a YouTube presence?

ok, wait a minute -
non-contributing member of society? I don’t think so! The fact that you write a blog contradicts that notion… for starters. There are thousands if not millions of people out of work who might be described as non-contributing, but you’re not one of them.

worthless lay about with nothing to offer? Oh no you ditn’t just say that! Cyberspace just needs to know how to find you - do you have a my space page?

I definitely think that the Medium could benefit from your suggestions and even consider adding you to their writing team to help break the predictability - I enjoy the show too but have noticed a certain pattern bordering on too much repetition from one episode to the next. I think Mad TV even did a spoof on it.
Keep writing, directing, and producing for Poste Media - it’s only the beginning…

Dream job….I think it happens when you sleep.

Extraction - Perhaps pulling CEO’s hand out of his kitchen blender? Or just the average joe pulling his hair out trying to pay his credit card on-line.

Glass half full? Sorry, I think the glass has left the building.

Health Insurance? KInd of like Santa Clause.

Dear Dr. Zucker,
Perhaps you could send this interviewer my way - I can tell her all about how a disabled person gets looked down on when needing to apply for Welfare, gets sent to eighteen different buildings, is given 9 different numbers to call, and is finally told they can drive out to Sun Valley for an interview, and GUESS WHAT! The food stamps will start right away, a whopping $238 a month, and the “relief” check will take longer, but when I get it, I can go wild! One hundred dollars a month!!

Of course, they have to interview me and decide if I am worthy of these blessings.

Oh! Our time is up.

So the glass half full guy thinks that the root extraction is a metaphor for getting rid of the past and looking towards the bright and sunny future. Of course it was a wisdom tooth…but in today’s world, who needs wisdom.

Yesterday in Forbes magazine there was an article about a CEO who boosted sales of his kitchen blender by 500% by making a YouTube video of himself “blending” an iPod in his ultra powerful kitchen appliance.

Now THAT is Wisdom. Hope he has health insurance.
